branding & web design
I used high contrast in both the colours and the typography to keep the overall brand feeling sleek, professional, and high-end. I used negative space in the logo design for visual interest to allow the logo to be placed on a variety of backgrounds and textures showing through the lettering. I opted for a monochromatic blue colour scheme to provide a strong sense of visual cohesion throughout the brand to keep that elevated feel.
BV Style Essentials is a local beauty brand owned by Aubrey Bonnah-Vink. I was very lucky to create her brand image and website, as I personally use her services and products. I am passionate about working with female-owned small businesses, so this was a special project for me.
To create a high-end logo and brand deliverables for local beauty brand, BV Style Essentials Inc, as well as a beautiful and functional website for bookings and product sales.
branding - collaboration
This is a logo design, pattern, signage and business card design I worked on in collaboration with talented Branding Agency, 'Nat Park Creative' for a local luxury development group, T Jones. This group builds stunning mansions with opulent interiors in Vancouver, BC
It was very important to bring an elegance and vibrancy to the design, and we used inspiration from the interiors of their homes for this branding. The logo design was inspired by beautiful bronze chairs used in one of the homes. My idea for the colours stemmed from a peacock - an animal representative of poise, flamboyance and beauty. The inspiration for the custom pattern came from the textures and fabrics used in the homes.
To create a luxurious brand with rich colours that is reflective of the opulent homes that this company builds while keeping a clean and modern aesthetic.
branding - personal project
Plants n' Things is based on an actual retail plants and gifts store (name changes) that I rebranded as a personal project. The goal was to create something with a colourful, cheerful, and playful feel to represent the products sold in the store. I illustrated a custom pattern to ad to backgrounds, tags and retail bags.
branding - collaboration
It was important to keep the logo and brand deliverables simple yet eye-catching. I took inspiration from Bauhaus and Pop Art to create bright shapes and patterns that compliment the clothing and brand without taking away from it.
Serena West (previously known as Bellissima), is a Canadian-owned clothing retailer specializing in vibrant and unique garments for the modern fashionable woman. I worked with collaboration with NatPark Creative in creating the logo, submark, colour scheme, custom pattern, bag design, and tag design for this company.
To create a unique and beautiful brand that reflects the vibrant and beautiful clothing that Serena West offers, as well as their tagline: Be Bold, Be You, Be Seen. The client specifically chose the bright colours of red, blue, yellow and black.
branding & web design
I designed a number of different styles of Bonsai Trees and we opted for this more realistic drawing. I kept the branches and leaves thicker and all one object to make it easier to be scaled down and used on many aspects. I chose a font that was earthy and friendly that was still readable and clean and a colour scheme that is calming and inviting. Accents of tan are used in other project deliverables and website to add to the earthy feel.
This project is a branding and website design for a Gynecology and Obstetrics clinic located in White Rock, BC. I had a wonderful time designing for this client who was moving into a beautiful new space and wanted new branding and a tree design that would also be incorporated into the front waiting room area.
branding - personal project
Unity&Co. is a personal project that I created for a fictional holistic wellness brand. I have noticed the holistic wellness industry is becoming more popular in recent years, so I wanted to create something suited for this industry.
I chose the tan/pink colours to give a warm and inviting feel that immediately gives a sense of calm. The logo design represents balance, solidarity and the combining symmetrical circles represent the name 'Unity.' The triangle form represents trust and stability for a brand that requires their clientele to feel secure and trustworthy. The font is clean with some contrast to give an upscale feel while still remaining approachable.
branding - personal project
Opulent Flora is a personal branding project I completed through The Brief Collective for their monthly brief challenges. The Brief that was given to me was for an Oregon-based luxury bath bomb company with natural ingredients. I researched the most popular trees and plants that grow in Oregon that would realistically be used in the products and illustrated custom icons for the packaging for each one.
branding - personal project
Palisade is a project done for Design Business Academy by The Brief Collective as my Capstone Project.
Palisade is a Squamish, BC - based cocktail bar that specializes in classic cocktails. It was important for me to create something retro, fun and inviting but still upscale.
branding & website
Sunwise Property is a local company that specializes in flipping old homes into beautiful new rental spaces as well as handles all fees and rental responsibilities. It was important for this client to have a strong brand that could hold the test of time, and bold luxurious colours that gave a classic luxurious feel. I developed a logo with bold symmetrical lines representing the sunrise/sunset and the new beginnings of a new home.
What our clients say
I had such a positive experience working with Stephanie as my graphic designer! We designed a logo together for my new small business, and she was really helpful and responsive as we got letterhead and clinic handouts designed. She also designed a professional website for us, and incorporated handouts, resource links and photos of the clinic I had taken, and helped me learn to edit on Wix. She continues to help out when needed as our business evolves, which has been very appreciated. I would strongly recommend her!
I worked with Stephanie Bennett to create a logo and website design for my hair and makeup business. I was extremely happy with the results of both. She was extremely patient and listened to what I needed while providing professional knowledge and feedback on what will look good and reflect my brand. She was also so helpful with any small adjustments that needed to be made as my brand and business grows. I highly recommend working with her.
Stephanie is a true professional! I had a challenging brand to design, which Stephanie kindly explained to me. When I insisted it was what I wanted, she worked with me and designed some beautiful options that were aligned with my vision. My end result is a perfect brand kit, with a logo, fonts, colours and word-marks that are in easy to access file types so I can drag and drop into canva and my website for easily designing assets.
Stephanie Bennett is an intuitive designer who asks all the right questions to get your vision to a place better than you could have thought of yourself. Her logo for my brand is perfect (she gave me multiple options and it was so hard to choose). Having a specific vision and having that vision met is such a great feeling. It was truly an easy and enjoyable experience.
